About Christa

Prior to becoming a therapist I spent 10 years doing macro social work practice with LGBTQ+ young people experiencing homelessness in communities across the country. I have a BA from Georgia State University and after completing 2 years in China serving in the Peace Corps, I received an MSW from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College where I focused on community organizing and macro social work policy.
Christa is currently working towards perinatal mental health certification so she can continue to serve the birthing and parenting community.
I love working with individuals to process experiences and trauma, understanding that one person’s healing journey will impact generations to come.
